brussels sprouts cleaned
1 large
onions thinly sliced
200 ml
vegetable stock
0.5 teaspoon
nutmeg
2 tablespoons
olive oil extra virgin
pepper freshly ground

method:
- Place a large pot over a moderate heat and add the olive oil.
- Sauté the brussels sprouts and the onion until the onion turns golden brown.
- Add the vegetable stock, nutmeg, salt and pepper and bring to the boil.
- Reduce the heat, cover with a lid and simmer for 8-10 minutes. Remove from the heat and leave covered until you are ready to serve.
