ingredients:
1 kilo brussels sprouts cleaned
1 large onions thinly sliced
0.5 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
pepper freshly ground
method:
  1. Place a large pot over a moderate heat and add the olive oil.
  2. Sauté the brussels sprouts and the onion until the onion turns golden brown.
  3. Add the vegetable stock, nutmeg, salt and pepper and bring to the boil.
  4. Reduce the heat, cover with a lid and simmer for 8-10 minutes. Remove from the heat and leave covered until you are ready to serve.
