2 large pear
300 ml port wine
1 pinch cinnamon
1 pinch salt
method:
  1. Peal the pears, cut in half and remove the core.
  2. Place the pears together with the port wine and spices in a small sauce pan. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
